Manor ISD hires for key roles: ShadowGlen Elementary Principal, Chief Technology Officer, Manor Senior High Principal, and Decker Middle School Principal

The Manor ISD Board of Trustees with the support of Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery hired highly-qualified individuals in key roles in the district at their regularly scheduled board meeting Monday.

Andrea Easley was hired as the principal at ShadowGlen Elementary. Ms. Easley comes to Manor ISD from Temple ISD, where she served as a principal at Kennedy-Powell Elementary School. Before that, she served as an assistant principal and teacher at Pflugerville ISD and a teacher at Austin ISD. Ms. Easley has her master’s degree in education administration from Concordia University and her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Huston-Tillotson University.

Alfredo Martinez Loredo was hired as the Chief Technology Officer at Manor ISD. He comes to MISD from Waco ISD, where he was the Technology Director. He also worked as the principal at both Waco High School and Cesar Chavez Middle School in Waco ISD. He earned his master’s degree in educational administration from Baylor University and bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University in political science.

Debra Aceves was hired as the principal at the forthcoming Manor Senior High campus. She comes to Manor ISD from North East ISD in San Antonio, where she was a high school principal. She previously worked as a middle school principal in Lake Travis ISD and Assistant Principal in Austin ISD. She received her doctorate in education at Texas State University in San Marcos. She earned her master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin, and her bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies at The University of Texas at El Paso.

Dayna Anthony-Swain was also appointed as principal at Decker Middle School. Ms. Anthony-Swain has served at Manor ISD as principal of Manor Excel Academy and was previously the early childhood coordinator, assistant principal, and a teacher at Austin ISD.
