I am excited about teaching first grade at SGES. This is my twelfth year teaching in Manor ISD. Every year has been a new adventure, and I have enjoyed every moment. I grew up in the small town of Refugio, TX (Home of the Mighty Bobcats) where I graduated from high school in 1991. I attended Southwest Texas State University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care in 1995. After working in the healthcare field for over ten years, I realized my passion had always been to become a teacher, so I decided to get my teacher certification. I went back to Texas State University, and I received my teacher certification in 2006. I became a wife and mother in 2000, and my step son is currently in his last semester at Texas State University. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I am also a huge sports fan. My favorite teams include the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and the Mighty Refugio Bobcats ( recently crowned 2016 2A State Football Champions)!!! I look forward to working with your children, and I can't wait to embark on this new adventure!!!
