Kaitlin Williams » Home

My name is Kaitlin Williams and I am 28 years old. I currently work in the Special Education Department as the Functional Academics teacher here at SGE. This will be my 4th year teaching in Manor ISD and 3rd year teaching at ShadowGlen Elementary. I currently live on a 150 acre cattle farm and I love the adventure that each day brings. I spend most of my time reading, walking through the pastures with the cows, and feeding my pet donkey, and playing with my two rescue dogs.

I am excited to make this my best year yet!

I grew up in Waxahachie, Texas where I school from kindergarten to high school. I played soccer throughout my childhood and greatly enjoyed being outside as a kid.

In December of 2010, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology from Texas Tech University. After working at Helping Hand Home for Children in Austin, an agency affiliated with the Texas Foster Care Program, I got my alternative certification to teach. I am currently certified to teach Special Education, General Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language.

I am so proud to be a teacher at ShadowGlen Elementary and I look forward to getting to know you more!
